CONSIGLI PER L'ESTATE

Se quest'estate avete voglia di vero hip-hop e di un'avventura, il mio consiglio non può essere che la 3 giorni dell'Hip-Hop Kemp.

Ai tempi di Streetbeat ci andammo per diverse estati di fila in qualità di media-partner. Mai visto nulla di simile. Una trasferta al Kemp è un po' come il pellegrinaggio alla Mecca per un musulmano: almeno una volta nella vita va fatto. E' un tuffo nel mare dell'hip-hop che rigenera, specie chi come noi italiani proviene da una nazione musicalmente ridotta ad una fogna a cielo aperto.

Inoltre, aspetto da non sottovalutare, la Repubblica Ceca è molto piacevole da visitare. Non fatevi spaventare dalla distanza fra Hradec Kralove (cittadina che ospita il festival) e la capitale Praga: godetevele entrambe e idem per il viaggio tra le due, che alla peggio sarà una piacevole avventura in una landa che sa ancora molto dei tempi andati.

E' una spedizione da costi contenuti e dall'alta resa in termini di soddisfazione. Pensateci.

If you're craving some real hip-hop and an adventure for the Summer, my suggestion is nothing other than the 3-day of the Hip-Hop Kemp.

Back when we were running Streetbeat, we joined the festival as media-partners for a few consecutive summers. Going there is somewhat like going to the Mecca for a Muslim: at least once in a lifetime, you've got to do it. It's a rejuvenating dive into the hip-hop sea, particularly suited to those from Countries like Italy which musically are pretty much an open drain.

Furthermore, Czech Republic is an enjoyable place to visit. Don't be scared by the distance between Hradec Kralove (where the festival is held) and Prague. Enjoy both of them along with the journey in-between, which in the worst case scenario will turn out to be a pleasant adventure in a Country which still tastes somewhat of his communist past.

Overall it's an affordable and rewarding experience. Think about it.
